So simple, but so good! I like this coating best with the pork chops, but also works well with chicken pieces. The recipe is easily doubled (or tripled!).
Onion Baked Pork Chops (or Chicken)
1 envelope onion soup mix
1/3 c seasoned bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
4 pork chops, 1" thick
In a pie plate, combine the onion soup mix and breadcrumbs. Dip chops in egg, then breadcrumb mixture. Place on a greased, foil-lined baking sheet. Bake 25 minutes at 400, turning once.
