A shortbread cookie with a salty little twist. These make-up really fast and disappear even faster. This recipe was given to me by one of the ladies in our church who always got a kick out of making people guess what the "secret ingredient" was. I am writing it out exactly the way she gave it to me.
Potato Chip Cookies
Beat until like whipped cream:
1 lb butter
2 teas. vanilla
1 c white sugar
Add:
3 & 1/2 c flour
1 c crushed potato chips
Drop by teas. onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 mins. at 350 or until just very lightly browned.
Sprinkle with white sugar while still warm
