Cinnamon-Sugar Pecans

These just taste like Christmas to me, all sweet and cinnamony. Makes a really cute little gift when placed in a jar or treat bag and tied up with a bow. Super simple to make.

Cinnamon-Sugar Pecans

1 c. sugar
1 teas. salt
3 teas. cinnamon
1 egg white
3 c. of pecan halves
4 T. melted butter

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or a greased sheet of foil.

In a small bowl, stir together the sugar, salt and cinnamon, set aside.

Whisk the egg white with 1 tablespoon of water until frothy. Add in pecans and stir. Pour in sugar-cinnamon mixture and melted butter; stir until very well combined.

Spread out on cookie sheet and bake at 300 for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Mmmm, sugared nuts are so delicious!! I don't think I've had them with cinnamon before though

These are dangerously delicious. I have no problem eating pecans raw from the freezer. Put this coating on them and I am in serious trouble! I've also seen a similar coating that has a bit of cayenne - for sweet/hot. I don't even want to try that - I know I'd be instantly addicted!
