Party Mix

We like this a lot better than the Chex party mix. Use either the Ritz peanut butter or cheese sandwich crackers; they're both good. Very simple to make.

Party Mix

1 (11 oz.) bag mini pretzels
1 box Ritz sandwich crackers
1 c. dry roasted peanuts
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. light corn syrup
2 T. vanilla
1 teas. baking soda
1 (10 oz.) bag M&M's

In a large bowl, combine pretzels, sandwich crackers and peanuts; set aside.

In a saucepan, over medium heat, bring to a boil the sugar, butter and corn syrup. Remove from heat, then stir in the vanilla and baking soda. Pour over pretzel mixture and stir until evenly coated. Pour into a greased roasting pan. Bake at 250 for 45 minutes; stirring every 10 to 15 minutes. Break apart while mixture is still warm, then stir in the M&M's. Store in a sealed container.
